Welcome to Our Site!
Welcome to the newly established South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy (DCA), established by Act 160 of the South Carolina General Assembly - effective July 1, 2019.
The South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy is an independent state agency dedicated to ensuring that children across our great state receive adequate protection and care from services or programs related to the welfare of children offered by a number of departments within state government. The department is led by Director and State Child Advocate Amanda Whittle.
Here on our site, you can discover more about the roles and responsibilities of the DCA, submit child welfare complaints, connect with the divisions that comprise the agency and more.
Your concerns and input are essential to the success of the South Carolina Department of Children's Advocacy. Again, welcome to our site. We appreciate your interest in our office.
